Auckland, New Zealand – Vesper Marine, a leading manufacturer of innovative marine safety products, announced today it has opened a new European market for the AIS WatchMate® line of products.
French marine distribution company Pochon will distribute Vesper Marine products throughout France via its network of over 450 dealers and outlets.
Pochon SA will represent all of Vesper Marine products including the 2010 DAME Award nominated AIS WatchMate 850 Transponder. Pochon will be debuting the WatchMate 850 Transponder at the International Paris Boat show on December the 4th. This is the first public boat show in the world for the recently released WatchMate 850 Transponder to be displayed. “If the recent trade events are an indicator of success we expect this new product to be very successful in France with many trade reviewers commenting on the ease of use and benefits of filtering features that declutter AIS information on screens” said Mike Ogle, Vesper Marine’s GM Sales and Marketing.
The addition of Pochon to Vesper Marine’s growing European network of distributors now delivers coverage across both coasts of France with five company locations, over 450 dealers, a significant web presence and a widely distributed marine products catalogue with over 20,000 listings.
