New Zealand based Vesper Marine has appointed Marathon Leisure as its sole UK distributor for the company’s range of commercial and recreational AIS products.
The smartAIS transponders send and receive data and in addition, incorporate smart alarm logic that proactively alerts boaters to potential collision situations. Anchor positions are plotted with alerts if the anchor drags and the system also has a MOB alarm for quick action.
