smartAIS by Vesper Marine is an active system with smart alarm logic that proactively alerts boaters of potentially hazardous situations. An extensible platform, smartAIS offers customers new features and capabilities through regular software updates, delivered automatically via a smart phone and the WatchMate App from Vesper Marine.

Callaghan Innovation is the New Zealand Government agency responsible for supporting hi-tech businesses in New Zealand. The R&D Project Grant is designed to help organizations add scale to their R&D investment for greater market impact.
