Firmware Upgrades
To perform a firmware upgrade you'll need to connect your Vesper Marine AIS Transponder or AISWatchMate to a PC running Microsoft WIndows XP (or later).
- If your Vesper Marine product has WiFi you should perform the update by connecting your PC to the transponder over WiFi.
- If you have a WatchMate 850 you must use the USB port. A short USB cable was included for this purpose.
- For WatchMate 650, 670 and 750 your PC will need a serial port. You can use a USB-to-serial device if your PC doesn't have a serial port.
