Vesper Marine is dedicated to safety on the water for sail, power and work boats. Our award-winning collision avoidance AIS transponders, displays and virtual beacons are designed by the Vesper Marine engineering team and built in New Zealand with an unwavering focus on quality, exceptional value and outstanding customer support.
The US Coast Guard has significantly widened the number of vessels required to operate an AIS. This affects commercial vessels larger than 65 feet, including fishing, as well as certain towing and passenger vessels. The new rules require these vessels to have USCG approved AIS transponders installed by March 2016.
A 24/7 web-based service that combines live vessel positions from the Automatic Identification Systems (AIS) with virtual Aids to Navigation (AtoNs). This allows owners to protect their marine assets by providing vessels with electronic visibility of assets and active alerts with the information needed to take preventative action.
This transponder with WiFi lets you use all your favorite mobile devices. See vessels around you and navigate using an iPhone, iPad, Android tablet, PC or Mac. It creates a WiFi network for up to five devices, and it's also a NMEA 2000 gateway too. AIS, GPS and your NMEA instrument data is sent to all your mobiles plus a chart plotter or multi-function display. Simultaneously!
Each Vesper Marine product outperforms its nearest competitor on functionality and features. But the reason mariners love our products is because they are so easy to install and use. Intuitive navigation, filtering to avoid traffic clutter, smart alerts to focus on high priority traffic, all integrated to your existing on board systems or mobile devices.
